Recipe for gluten-free burger buns with cauliflower
Gluten- and lactose-free burger buns with cauliflower – healthy and delicious!
Serve burgers guilt-free by putting these “burger buns” on the table.
The buns are different from what you might be used to, but despite that, they are definitely worth a try. The cauliflower develops a slightly sweet flavor during baking, which pairs well with the salty fillings that go in the burger.

Ingredients
- 0.5 pcs. Cauliflower
- 3 pcs. Egg
- 100 gram Plain yogurt
- 6.3 gram Sugar
- 7.2 gram Baking Soda
- 8 gram Psyllium Husk
- 10 gram Chia Seeds
- 60 gram Oatmeal possibly gluten-free
- Spices salt and pepper
- Sesame Seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse the cauliflower and remove the leaves and the thick part of the stem.
- Grate the cauliflower on the fine side of the grater.
- Put the oats in a food processor or mini chopper and blend them into flour.
- Put oats and cauliflower in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients.
- Mix everything together and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Shape the dough into 6 buns with a tablespoon.
- Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake the buns for 20-25 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Let the buns cool before filling them with your preferred burger filling.
