Recipe for tea rolls
Delicious, fluffy tea buns with the perfect sweet taste and glossy surface.
The tea buns are easy to make, and you have the option to let the dough cold rise in the refrigerator overnight. This is convenient, as you can adjust the recipe to suit your needs best.
The buns taste wonderful with butter, cheese, and jam, and they can be served with both tea and coffee!

Ingredients
- 35 gram Yeast
- 300 gram Water cold
- 10 gram Salt
- 65 gram Sugar
- 1 pcs. Egg
- 50 cloves Butter
- 625 gram Wheat Flour
- 1 pcs. Egg for brushing
Instructions
- -Crumble the yeast into a mixing bowl or dough bowl and stir with a hand whisk until the yeast is completely dissolved.
- Add salt, sugar, beaten egg and stir it into the yeast mixture.
- Gradually add the flour, stirring until the dough is smooth and comes away from the sides of the bowl.
- Cut the butter into small cubes and add it to the dough.
- Thoroughly knead the butter into the dough.
- Cover the bowl with the dough at room temperature and cover the bowl.
- Let the dough rise for 30 minutes. You can also place the dough in the refrigerator overnight if you prefer.
- Divide the dough into 10 pieces and shape them into rolls.
- Place them on a baking tray with parchment paper. Ensure there is enough space between the rolls so they don't merge during rising.
- Let the rolls rise again for 2-3 hours.
- Brush the rolls with beaten egg to give them a beautiful, shiny surface. Bake the rolls for 10-12 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Allow the finished rolls to cool on a wire rack.
