Light, airy, fluffy, and just super delicious with ham, cheese, zucchini, and chives inside. They taste fantastic! They are mixed together in just a few minutes – you don't even need to get your hands sticky, and then you have wonderful buns for the lunchbox, picnic, or just for home comfort.

Recipe for squash buns with ham and cheese

I’m over the moon with these rolls! Light, airy, and just mega delicious with ham, cheese, squash, and chives inside. They taste fantastic! They come together in just a few minutes—you don’t even need to get greasy hands—and then you have wonderful rolls for the lunchbox, picnic, or just for enjoying at home.

I eat them just as they are, but they also taste great with a layer of butter or a slice of cheese.

I use a bit of tipo00 flour in the dough, a specially finely ground wheat flour. It’s not strictly necessary, but I think it makes the rolls a bit softer and more delicious. If you don’t have it on hand, you can definitely substitute with regular wheat flour.

The rolls stay fresh for a couple of days, but otherwise, they can also be frozen immediately after baking, and then they will be like freshly baked when you take them out again.
