Recipe for fried palm cabbage
Delicious and quick way to prepare black cabbage.
If you are not familiar with this cabbage, it is a Tuscan kale, reminiscent of a mix between Savoy cabbage and curly kale.
By flash frying it, you get a cabbage that is both reminiscent of crispy fried kale, but still with a bit of bite.
Black cabbage pairs well with a stew, where you can, for instance, serve it fried as I’ve done here, or place it on top of the stew under the lid for a few minutes before serving, giving you a delightful cabbage that complements the dish well.
