Recipe for easy rolls
Sometimes you just want to fill your home with the aroma of warm, homemade breakfast rolls.
And what could be more delightful on a weekend morning than waking up to that smell? It’s the most wonderful start to the day and a lovely way to gather the family.
Serve up a full breakfast spread with freshly squeezed juice, homemade jam (like apple-zucchini, strawberry-raspberry, strawberry-rhubarb) and waffles or pancakes (blueberry pancakes, banana pancakes or a vegan version) – and you’ve earned the title of hero of the day!
Easy Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 package Yeast organic
- 120 gram Water lukewarm
- 306 gram Whole Milk
- 12 gram Salt
- 12.5 gram Sugar
- 2 gram Cardamom
- 600 gram Wheat Flour
- 1 Egg for brushing
Instructions
- Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix the dough thoroughly. Add a bit of extra flour if you think it's necessary – the dough should be smooth.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
- Form 18 rolls from the dough, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
- Brush the rolls with the beaten egg.
- Bake the rolls in the middle of the oven at 225 degrees Celsius (437 degrees Fahrenheit) (conventional oven top and bottom heat) for 12 minutes.
- Remove the finished rolls from the oven, let them cool a bit, and serve.
