Recipe for braided garlic bread with cheese and parsley
Delicious small braided breads with garlic butter, parsley, and cheese – yum!
They are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with delightful filling. Butter, garlic, and parsley are mixed together, spread on a pre-made pizza dough, sprinkled with cheese, and then shaped and baked – they are super easy and really good.
Use them as a side dish for soups, stews, etc., or as a little addition to lunchboxes. They would also be great for a tapas setting!
They take 30 minutes from start to finish.

Braided Garlic Bread with Cheese and Parsley
Ingredients
- 125 gram Butter room temperature
- 2 cloves Garlic pressed
- 1 handful Parsley fresh, chopped
- 75 gram Grated cheese
- Salt and Pepper a bit
- 1 package Dough roll of ready-made pizza dough
- Milk for brushing
Instructions
- Mix butter, garlic, and parsley together.
- Roll out the pizza dough and spread the mixture – make sure to cover all edges well.
- Distribute the grated cheese on the base.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- First, fold one side of the dough over the middle and then the other side. You now have a long “stick” in 3 layers.
- Roll over the dough a few times with a rolling pin, so the layers combine.
- Cut the dough into 10 equal pieces.
- Divide each piece into 3 strips, which are braided together.
- Place the 10 pieces of bread on a baking tray, brush with milk, and bake at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) (conventional oven) for 12-15 minutes until they are golden. Serve.
