Beetroot Patties
Today, I tried making lentil/beetroot patties for the first time. It can definitely be recommended - Yummy. For 2 adults and 2 children. (And lunch the next day)
Ingredients
- 100 gram Lentils red
- 225 gram Beetroot
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 pcs. Onion
- 1 handful Parsley
- 60 gram Oatmeal
- 9 gram Linseed ground yellow flax seeds - soaked with 5 tbsp water
- Salt
- Spices to taste
- Olive Oil
Instructions
- Cook the lentils until tender.
- Grate the beetroot and onion using a food processor.
- Add the other ingredients (including the flax seeds that have been soaked for 10 minutes) and blend/stir the mixture until smooth.
- Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes before you (with your hands), which you rub in oil, shape your patties and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit).
