Recipe for all-in-one sunday dish with beef, potatoes, and vegetables
This dish is perfect for a Sunday; it’s easy but requires some oven time – on the plus side, it’s great for clearing out the fridge before a new week begins.
The dish consists of a vegetable base, a layer of flavorful meat sauce, a layer of potatoes, and on top, a bit more meat sauce, grated cheese, and fresh tomatoes. Everything is baked in a creamy sauce. It could perhaps be described as a fusion between scalloped potatoes and lasagna. The smart thing is that you get all the elements in one dish, so once the initial steps are done, you can just let the oven take over and enjoy the peace while the aroma fills your home.
You can use any vegetables or root vegetables you have on hand, and the potatoes could easily be replaced with pasta if that’s what you have in abundance. If you have leftover meat sauce from the day before, just use that! It makes this dish super quick in the oven.
Here’s the version I made – and it was good! But feel free to add and swap ingredients as you like. The creamy sauce, which just makes everything better, will ensure that this dish turns out super delicious and flavorful.

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
