Recipe for dream cake muffins
Few things in the world are better than dream cake! ???
Soft and spongy cake base with sinful coconut topping… the very best part is, of course, the topping, and personally, I always go for a “corner piece” because that’s where the topping layer is the thickest ?
In these, there’s a corner all the way around because I’ve transformed the classic dream cake into muffins… ?
And just to give them that extra bit, I’ve also put some filling inside ?
They taste insanely good! They’re easy to make, and easier to take on the go in this version… ?
You shouldn’t meddle too much with recipes that just work, so here you have the classic dream cake, just as we know it, but with a bit of yogurt in the batter to make it extra spongy and cream instead of milk in the topping because it just makes it that little bit more delicious ?
Enjoy and have a great day! ?

- 250 gram Flour
- 14 gram Baking Soda
- 4 gram Vanilla Sugar

- 150 gram Butter
- 100 gram Coconut
- 250 gram Brown sugar
- 50 gram Cream
Instructions
Dream Cake
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Whisk butter and sugar well together.
- Add one egg at a time and whisk between each addition.
- Add milk and yogurt, stir together.
- Add all the dry ingredients and stir to a smooth batter.
- Divide the batter into muffin tins, filling only a little over halfway - they will rise, and there needs to be room for the filling.
- Bake your muffins for 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
The Filling
- In the meantime, melt all the ingredients for the filling in a pot.
- When your muffins have baked for 20 minutes, add the filling on top. Optionally, cut a hole in the top of your muffins and put the filling in here as well if you want some inside.
- Bake for an additional 5 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Cool your muffins and serve.
