White Bread
Recipe for grandma’s white bread, airy, delicious, and perfect for the breakfast table. It is easy to make and tastes really good.
Ingredients
- 200 gram Water Lukewarm
- 200 gram Milk Lukewarm
- 30 gram Yeast
- 2 pcs. Egg
- 10 gram Salt
- 50 gram Sugar
- 800 gram Wheat Flour
- 50 gram Butter soft
Instructions
- Put water and milk in a bowl and dissolve the yeast in it.
- Add all ingredients except for the butter.
- Mix together to form a firm dough, then add the soft butter.
- Take your dough and mix with a stand mixer for 10 minutes at medium speed.
- Divide the dough into two equal parts.
- Knock the air out of the dough by folding it over itself 3-4 times until the dough resembles a tight, firm ball.
- Distribute the dough into 2 appropriately sized molds.
- Let the loaves rise for 1-1.5 hours.
- Brush the surface with milk and put them in the oven.
- Bake the loaves at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) in a conventional oven for about 20 minutes.
- Let the loaves cool on a rack.
- After cooling, they are ready to serve.
