The Healthy Snickers
THE HEALTHY SNICKERS; it's too delicious not to make. Besides chocolate and peanuts, it is filled with dates, raisins, almonds, and coconut oil.
Ingredients
Bottom
- 170 gram Almonds roasted
- 80 gram Raisins
- 5 pcs. Dates pitted
- 1 tsp. Coconut Oil
- 1 pinch Salt
"Karamel"
- 10 pcs. Dates pitted
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Sugar
- 1 dl Boiling water
- 1.5 tsp. Coconut Oil
The Chocolate Top
- 145 gram Peanuts salted
- 120 gram Dark chocolate 70 %
- 1 tablespoon Coconut Oil
Instructions
Bottom
- Soak raisins in boiling water for 10 minutes.
- Strain the water from the raisins.
- Blend almonds, dates, raisins, salt, and coconut oil well together.
- Line a tin with baking paper and put the mixture in it. Press it down well, it should be about 1.5 cm thick. Place it in the fridge.
"Caramel"
- Blend dates and vanilla.
- Add boiling water and coconut oil. Blend it well for 4 minutes.
- Spread the mixture over the bottom layer. Place it back in the fridge.
Chocolate Topping
- Melt the chocolate and stir in the coconut oil.
- Mix the peanuts with the chocolate, and spread the chocolate over the "caramel".
- Wrap your "snickers" well and place it in the fridge. Once the chocolate has set, it can be cut.
