Roast Pork in Airfryer/Actifryer
Equipment
- 1 Airfryer or
- 1 Actifry
Ingredients
- 800 gram Pork in slices about 1 cm thick. I prefer smoked over fresh pork, but that's a matter of taste you can decide for yourself. It makes no difference to the dish
- Salt
Breading (if desired)
- 52 gram Wheat Flour
- 2 pcs. Egg beaten
- 200 gram Grate or panko
Serving
- Potato
- Parsley Sauce
- Pickled beets
Instructions
- Start by setting your airfryer/actifryer to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Score the edges of the pork slices with a knife or scissors. This prevents them from curling up during cooking. Pat your pieces with a paper towel.
- Sprinkle both sides of the pork slices with salt and pepper to taste.
Roast Pork in Airfryer
- Pour about 1 deciliter of water at the bottom of your airfryer - this helps ensure that no smoke escapes everywhere.
- Place the pork slices in the airfryer basket in a single layer. If you need to cook more slices, you can do it in several batches.
- Cook the pork slices in the airfryer for about 25 minutes. Turn them about every 10 minutes using tongs.
- Increase the temperature to 210 degrees Celsius (410 degrees Fahrenheit) and cook them for about 15 minutes. Check them every 5 minutes to ensure they do not overcook.
- Remove the pork slices from the airfryer and place them on a piece of absorbent paper, such as a paper towel or a clean dish towel.
- Your pork is now ready to be eaten.
Roast Pork in Actifry
- Place the pork in the basket.
- Cook them for 25 minutes.
- Increase the temperature to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) and cook them for 15 minutes.
- Check them about every 5 minutes to ensure they do not overcook.
- Remove the pork slices from the airfryer and place them on a piece of absorbent paper, such as a paper towel or a clean dish towel.
- Your pork is now ready to be eaten.
Breaded Roast Pork in Airfryer
- Put flour on a plate by itself.
- Crack the eggs onto a new plate and beat them with a fork.
- Put breadcrumbs/panko on a third plate.
- Coat the pork first in flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
- Place the pork in your airfryer basket and make sure they are not touching each other.
- If possible, put neutral oil (e.g., canola or sunflower) in a spray bottle and spray it on top of your pork. This will make them even crispier.
- Cook at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) for 25 minutes and about 10-15 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Remove them and place them on absorbent paper.
Serving
- Serve your pork with boiled potatoes, parsley sauce, and pickled beets.
- Enjoy.
