Recipe for pulled chicken
Most people know pulled pork. Here we have a healthier version – with low-fat chicken breast and a sugar-free barbecue marinade. The concept is the same with a delicious marinade, slow-cooked meat that becomes so tender it can be pulled apart with two forks.

Pulled Chicken
Ingredients
- 4 pcs. Chicken Breast
- 400 gram Barbecue marinade
Instructions
- A dry rub marinade can be made, but I try to avoid sugar, so I chose to marinate the meat in this homemade sugar-free BBQ sauce.
- Use an ovenproof dish and line it with aluminum foil. Pour some of the marinade into the bottom and place the 4 chicken breast fillets on top. Pour the rest of the marinade over the meat, ensuring it is well distributed into the meat.
- Wrap the dish in aluminum foil and let it sit for 30 minutes. It can marinate for longer if you have the time.
- Cook it for 3.5 hours at 110 degrees Celsius (230 degrees Fahrenheit) with fan in the oven.
- Then the chicken should be taken out of the oven and transferred to a new dish, where it can be pulled apart with 2 forks.
- Serve it, for example, in a burger bun (burger bun/brioche burger bun) along with coleslaw (coleslaw/coleslaw).
