A dry rub marinade can be made, but I try to avoid sugar, so I chose to marinate the meat in this homemade sugar-free BBQ sauce.
Use an ovenproof dish and line it with aluminum foil. Pour some of the marinade into the bottom and place the 4 chicken breast fillets on top. Pour the rest of the marinade over the meat, ensuring it is well distributed into the meat.
Wrap the dish in aluminum foil and let it sit for 30 minutes. It can marinate for longer if you have the time.
Cook it for 3.5 hours at 110 degrees Celsius (230 degrees Fahrenheit) with fan in the oven.
Then the chicken should be taken out of the oven and transferred to a new dish, where it can be pulled apart with 2 forks.
Serve it, for example, in a burger bun (burger bun/brioche burger bun) along with coleslaw (coleslaw/coleslaw).
