Ingredients

  • 1 pcs. Puff Pastry
  • Pesto red
  • Pesto green

Instructions

  • The puff pastry roll is unrolled and cut in half.
  • Each half is spread with either green or red pesto.
  • The piece of dough with green pesto is cut into strips about 1 centimeter wide and "twisted" by rotating one end. You should end up with long "sticks" of dough that resemble Italian grissini.
  • The piece of dough with red pesto is rolled up like a roulade and cut into slices about 1/2-1 centimeter thick.
  • Both types of puff pastry snacks are baked in a conventional oven at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 15 minutes.
  • Cool on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

Replace green and red pesto with olive and tomato tapenade. It's also delicious!
