Do you know the feeling of always serving the same thing?

Sometimes it’s just time for new sides.

If you then take potato, bacon, spices, and parmesan – it can only go well.

Here I tried with Potato Roses.

Potato Roses with Bacon

Do you know the feeling of always serving the same thing? Sometimes it's time for new side dishes. If you take potato, bacon, spices, and parmesan - it can only turn out well

Ingredients

  • 4 pcs. Potato Baking potatoes will also work fine
  • 1 pcs. Sweet Potato One large
  • 40.5 gram Olive Oil
  • 1 pinch Thyme
  • 1 pinch Rosemary
  • 1 pinch Garlic Powder
  • 2 gram Parmesan
  • 2 packages Bacon Sliced

Instructions

  • Cut your potatoes into thin slices on a mandolin.
  • Give the potatoes a bit of oil and seasoning according to your taste and needs.
  • Roughly clean a sweet potato and cut it on a mandolin.
  • Place two pieces of bacon in a row with an overlap of about 10 cm.
  • Distribute the potato slices on top of the bacon.
  • Roll everything carefully together into a rose.
  • Place the roses in a muffin tin.
  • Bake them for 30 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Take them out and wrap everything in aluminum foil.
  • Back in the oven for about 20 minutes.
  • Out again and add a bit more seasoning and parmesan.
  • Last round in the oven for approximately 10 minutes.
  • Now serve the roses with whatever you like. They are really good with almost any meat, a good puree, and not least a good sauce.
  • Enjoy your meal.
