Recipe for pita bread with tuna salad, egg, and herb dressing
Today’s menu is something easy, delicious, and kid-friendly; Pita bread with filling – the kids get a few different small bowls with fillings to choose from, they find it fun to build their own.
My filling consists of a quick tuna salad, a rapidly mixed crème fraîche dressing with herbs and pickled cucumbers, and then some eggs – a really wonderful mix.
The dressing is both slightly sweet due to the honey, but also with small tangy bites of cucumber, which complements the tuna and egg incredibly well.
It’s easy and quick to make! A lovely everyday menu.
