Recipe for lemon syrup

Easy and delicious lemon syrup, made based on the 1:1:1 principle. That means 1 part lemon juice, 1 part water, and 1 part sugar – it doesn’t get much easier than that.

This gives the perfect combination of sweetness and tartness and is perfect for a dessert or a delightful lemonade.

Ingredients

  • 1 dl Water
  • 1 dl Cane Sugar
  • 1 pcs. Lemon Juice The juice of 1 organic lemon

Instructions

  • Start by squeezing the juice from the lemon. Put the lemon juice in a pot along with water and raw sugar. Let it simmer until it thickens a bit - this takes about 5-7 minutes. Pour it through a funnel into a bottle and refrigerate..
