Homemade Tomato Powder Recipe

Homemade Tomato Powder
Equipment
- Dehydrator
Ingredients
- Tomato
Instructions
- Slice the tomatoes into ultra-thin slices using a mandoline slicer.
- Place the tomato slices on the drying tray and set the tray in the dehydrator.
- Give them 22 hours at 52.5 degrees Celsius (41 degrees Fahrenheit). They should be completely dry - so that they break when you bend them.
- When the time is up, let them cool down before proceeding further - otherwise, the condensation will soften them.
- Put the dried tomato slices in a mini chopper, coffee grinder, or blender, depending on the size of the batch you are making.
- Blend them into powder and pour the powder into a jar or use it immediately.
