Fried Fish Fillet
Ingredients
- 4 pcs. Plaice Fillet
- 1 pcs. Egg
- Grate
- Spices salt and pepper
- Butter for frying
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Rinse and pat dry the fish fillets with a piece of paper towel.
- Beat the egg with a fork in a deep plate.
- Pour breadcrumbs onto a flat plate and season with salt and pepper.
- Dip the fish fillets first in the beaten egg and then in the breadcrumbs. Make sure the fish is completely covered, and feel free to sprinkle a little extra breadcrumbs over the fish.
- Heat butter and oil in a pan, let it sizzle and fry the fish for 2-3 minutes on each side over medium heat.
- Turn the fillets only once during frying, so you don't damage the delicious breading.
- Also, do not fry the fish for too long, as it can easily become boring and dry.
- Serve the fried fish fillets with boiled potatoes, lemon wedges, and some melted butter.
- A fresh raw salad of grated carrots and apples with a dressing of orange juice also tastes really good with the fish.
Notes
Optionally sprinkle the salad with chopped almonds or nuts.
