Ingredients

  • 4 pcs. Plaice Fillet
  • 1 pcs. Egg
  • Grate
  • Spices salt and pepper
  • Butter for frying
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Rinse and pat dry the fish fillets with a piece of paper towel.
  • Beat the egg with a fork in a deep plate.
  • Pour breadcrumbs onto a flat plate and season with salt and pepper.
  • Dip the fish fillets first in the beaten egg and then in the breadcrumbs. Make sure the fish is completely covered, and feel free to sprinkle a little extra breadcrumbs over the fish.
  • Heat butter and oil in a pan, let it sizzle and fry the fish for 2-3 minutes on each side over medium heat.
  • Turn the fillets only once during frying, so you don't damage the delicious breading.
  • Also, do not fry the fish for too long, as it can easily become boring and dry.
  • Serve the fried fish fillets with boiled potatoes, lemon wedges, and some melted butter.
  • A fresh raw salad of grated carrots and apples with a dressing of orange juice also tastes really good with the fish.
