Recipe for deep-fried burger without bread
The recipe for deep-fried burger without a bun can actually be described as a crazy idea that ended up being a success. It was an idea that first arose in connection with us making 4 videos for our YouTube theme about deep frying. There was quite a bit of discussion about whether it would end up being a brilliant or simply just a bad idea to deep-fry a burger filled with pickled jalapenos and cheddar cheese and wrapped in bacon.
After several attempts, we managed to hit the perfect balance between crispiness and flavor, and the recipe turned out to be a big hit among friends. Although it was hard to judge whether the idea was crazy or brilliant at first, it proved to be a genius way to make a delicious and different snack.
So if you dare to try something new and different in the kitchen, deep-fried burger without a bun is a great place to start! We promise you that this is a very calorie-rich snack.

Deep-Fried Burger without Bread
Equipment
- 1 Deep fryer
- 1 Frying Pan
Ingredients
- 400 gram Ground beef
- 2 packages Bacon slices
- 1 package Cheddar cheese
- 1 package Jalapenos pickled
- Salt and Pepper
- 50 gram Butter for frying
Breading
- 50 gram Flour approximately
- 2 pcs. Egg beaten
- 50 gram Panko approximately
Other Than That
- 1 l Oil neutral, for deep frying
Instructions
- Divide your ground beef into 2 lumps.
- Shape them into patties.
- Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Use a cutting board to place your bacon on. Either make a woven pattern or simply place them side by side.
- Cut out a hole in the middle of your patty, which can be with a shot glass or something else that is approximately 2-4 cm thick. Fill the hole with cheese and pickled jalapenos. Whether you use shredded cheddar or slices doesn’t matter much. If you use slices, cut them out the same way as the patty. Alternate between placing cheese and jalapenos.
- Place the patty on top of the bacon and wrap the bacon around it.
- Put the patty in a pan over high heat (about 11 out of 14 on our stove) and fry it for about 2 minutes on each side in plenty of butter.
Breading
- Put flour, breadcrumbs, and egg on their own plates. Make sure to beat the egg well.
- First coat the patties in flour, then in the egg mixture, and finally in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Put them in 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) hot neutral oil (either in a pot or a deep fryer) and cook them for about 8-10 minutes - it depends a bit on how thick your patties are.
- Season with salt on top and serve them for example in parchment paper or something else, so you can hold them and eat them as a snack.
- Enjoy.
