Recipe for creamy pointed cabbage salad with avocado and pears
It might be a bit difficult to talk up a pointed cabbage salad, but I’ll try because this one is really, really good!
The salad consists of pointed cabbage tossed in a creamy, grandma-style dressing – you know, the one with a bit of crème fraîche, honey, lemon, and Dijon mustard – a sweet yet slightly tangy dressing.
Additionally, there’s some fresh green salad mixed in, along with soft ripe avocados and sweet pears. On top, toasted pine nuts add a crunchy, nutty twist. That’s basically it – super simple, but a perfect mix of flavors and textures: creamy, fresh, crunchy, soft, and sweet.
The salad is ready in 15 minutes and tastes simply amazing!
We had the salad with stuffed chicken rolls, but it makes a delightful side dish for most meals and can also be enjoyed on its own.
