Recipe for cold-rise oatmeal rolls
The other day we had asparagus soup. And what is the most important thing for a good soup? Of course, it’s some delicious bread to accompany it.
These rolls turned out really good, so I have to share the recipe with you so you can try them as well.
They can be used as a side for all kinds of dishes, but are also super delicious for breakfast.

- Sprinkle the table with oatmeal and gently turn the dough out onto it. Then sprinkle with oatmeal on top
- Cut the dough into 12 rolls and place them on a baking sheet with baking paper
- Heat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius (482 degrees Fahrenheit) fan setting, and place the rolls in the oven with about 1 dl of boiling water in an ovenproof dish at the bottom (to create steam in the oven)
- The rolls need to bake for about 15 minutes until they are nicely browned, then cool the rolls a bit on a rack so they don't become soft
