Recipe for choco overnight oats with peanut butter and banana
Overnight oats; one of the absolute easiest breakfast creations, which also tastes really wonderful! The ingredients can be varied infinitely according to taste and mood, and the porridge can be mixed together in a few minutes.
Overnight oats consist of oats, chia seeds, and optionally other seeds/grains, which are covered with liquid and left to sit in the fridge overnight. The next morning, there is delicious creamy porridge, ready to be topped with yogurt, fruit, or whatever you fancy.
In this version, the porridge is mixed with yogurt, milk, banana, peanut butter, and a bit of cocoa – it creates a lovely sweet and creamy chocolate porridge, which tastes like dessert but is healthy and nourishing.
On top, I’ve added Greek yogurt to add freshness, crunchy muesli, more peanut butter, banana, and chocolate.
A truly delightful breakfast that makes the tummy happy and keeps you full for a long time.
I’ve used a salty caramel peanut butter, which tastes absolutely heavenly! But you can use any peanut butter you like, or leave it out if you’re not into peanut butter – just go for what you enjoy the most.
