The recipe is simple and straightforward, and it requires no cooking of the ingredients – the acid from the lime juice cooks the fish.

The dish is made in a very classic way and includes, among other things, chili, coriander, and lime.

Ceviche

Ingredients

  • 1 pcs. Apples
  • 4 pcs. Tomato
  • 0.5 pcs. Cucumber
  • 200 gram Cod fresh fish, e.g., salmon and cod – note that it is recommended to freeze fish for 24 hours if it is to be eaten raw
  • 1 handful Prawns Greenland prawns with shell
  • 1 pcs. Shallots
  • 0.5 pcs. Chili red
  • 2 pcs. Lime just the juice
  • Olive Oil
  • 1 handful Cilantro coarsely chopped and fresh
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Peel the apple and cut it into cubes.
  • Remove the seeds from the tomatoes and cut the cucumber and tomato into cubes.
  • Also cut the fish into cubes and shell the prawns.
  • Cut the onion and chili into very thin rings.
  • Arrange everything on a platter or four plates.
  • Drizzle with lime and olive oil, sprinkle with salt, and garnish with coarsely chopped coriander.
  • Let the ceviche marinate in the refrigerator for at least ½ hour before serving - preferably longer.
  • Ensure it is not completely chilled when serving.
