Recipe for candied orange
Candied and dehydrated orange slices are not only beautiful to look at, they also taste delightful on a dessert or in a cool drink.
Here you will find a detailed guide on how to first candy and then dehydrate fresh orange slices in a dehydrator. In the dehydration process, the orange slices, which have first been in a sugar syrup, are placed in a drying oven, where they are dried at low heat for 8 hours. This results in the orange slices drying out while retaining their beautiful color and intense, bitter yet sweet flavor.
Use them as a visual highlight and flavor enhancer for a dessert or in a refreshing drink.
