
Recipe for cabbage dish with chicken, cream sauce and bacon
Delicious oven-baked dish with cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, leeks, and chicken – all in a sumptuous creamy cheese sauce and topped with grated cheese, bacon, and parsley. In other words – everything in one dish, a delightful mix of fresh vegetables, tender chicken, crispy bacon, and creamy sauce – with plenty of good vitamins.
The dish can be eaten as it is or optionally served with rice.
Everything is easy and quick to make and mostly takes care of itself in the oven.

Ingredients
- 2 pcs. Leek
- 300 gram Cauliflower
- 150 gram Brussel Sprouts
- 400 gram Chicken breast fillet
- 300 gram Water
- 200 gram Cream
- 1 pcs. Stock Cube chicken
- 200 gram Grated cheese
- 150 gram Bacon diced
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Rinse and clean leeks, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts. Cut leeks into slices and cauliflower and Brussels sprouts into smaller pieces – place the vegetables in an ovenproof dish.Cut chicken into slices and place on top of the vegetables. Season well with salt and pepper.Put water, cream, bouillon cube, and half of the cheese in a pot – let simmer until the cheese is melted, then pour the sauce into the dish. Top with the remaining half of the grated cheese.Bake the dish for 25-30 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) – until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.While the dish is in the oven, fry the bacon until crispy.After about half an hour, take the dish out, top with bacon and parsley, and serve – possibly with rice 😊
