
Recipe for bruschetta with tomato and parmesan
Another great suggestion for an appetizer or side dish for New Year’s could be bruschetta, which, by the way, would also do quite well on a tapas table.
You get crunchy bread, juicy tomatoes, fresh basil, and a hint of garlic and parmesan… yum…
Bruschetta is easy and quick to make and can be varied in many ways…here you get probably the most classic version, which is also my favorite…

Bruschetta with Tomato and Parmesan
Equipment
- Cutting Board
- Knife
- Bowl
- Brush
- Oven
Ingredients
- 6 slices ciabatta bread
- 54 gram Olive Oil
- 2 pcs. Tomato large
- 1 handful Basil fresh and finely chopped
- 1 clove Garlic crushed
- 10 gram Parmesan grated
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions
- Cut the tomatoes into small pieces and mix them in a bowl with basil, garlic, Parmesan, and a little salt and pepper. Let it stand and marinate while the bread is prepared.
- Brush the bread slices with olive oil and bake them in the oven for 5 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Take the bread out and distribute the tomato mixture on top. Bake again for 5 minutes at the same temperature.
