Recipe for breakfast tart
These mini breakfast tarts are crispy on the edges and filled with delicious fillings inside.
They can be endlessly varied and are in the oven in 5 minutes.
It’s a great way to use up your leftover toast bread, and they suit any breakfast or brunch table. Brilliant… ?
In this version, I used pesto, serrano ham, grated cheese, and of course, eggs… But use whatever you like ?

Ingredients
- 4 slices Bread Toast/sandwich bread
- 5 gram Pesto Green pesto of good quality
- 4.8 gram Cream Cheese Nature
- 1 slices Serrano ham Or regular ham
- Grated cheese 1 small handful
- 4 pcs. Egg
- Spices Salt, pepper, thyme, and oregano
Instructions
- Roll the 4 toast slices flat with a rolling pin.
- Place them in their respective muffin tins and press down at the bottom to form a bowl shape.
- If the bread is too big, you can trim the edges.
- Mix pesto and cream cheese and spread a bit of the mixture in each bowl.
- Cut the ham slice into 4 pieces and put a piece in each bowl along with some grated cheese.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Crack an egg into each bowl and sprinkle thyme and oregano on top.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius (347 degrees Fahrenheit) (fan-assisted).
- Serve ?
