Ingredients
- 2 pcs. Bread e.g., baguette, ciabatta or sandwich bread
- 2 pcs. Tomato
- 6 slices Bacon
- salad preferably a crunchy lettuce, e.g., iceberg, romaine.
- Mayonnaise preferably homemade, or use your favorite store-bought version
Instructions
- Slice the bread lengthwise and toast the inside. Ideally, toast it on a grill pan to give it a delightful crust that adds lots of flavor to the dish. Of course, a toaster can also be used.
- Fry the bacon until crispy in a pan, and let it drain on paper towels.
- Slice the tomatoes.
- Rinse and thoroughly dry the lettuce.
