Danish Potato Hash

Ingredients

  • 500 gram Potato
  • 3 pcs. Carrots
  • 1 pcs. Onion
  • 4 pcs. Pork Chops about 500 grams
  • 34 gram worcestershire sauce
  • Spices salt and pepper
  • Butter for frying
  • Olive Oil for frying
  • 4 pcs. Egg
  • 0.5 bunch Broad leaf parsley

Instructions

  • Scrub or peel potatoes and carrots and cut both into cubes.
  • Spread the vegetables on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and toss them with oil and salt.
  • Bake them in the oven at 175 degrees Celsius (347 degrees Fahrenheit) for 20 minutes, until tender and golden.
  • Cut the pork chops into cubes and fry them in half of the butter in a pan until golden. Season the meat with salt and pepper and set aside on a plate.
  • Peel and chop the onion. Fry it in the remaining butter in a pan until soft but not browned.
  • Add the roasted potatoes and carrots along with the pork chops, and let it cook for a few minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Place the hash on a serving platter.
  • Fry the eggs in butter in the pan until they are cooked to your preference.
  • Rinse and chop the parsley.
  • Serve the hash with pickled beets and a sprinkle of parsley.
