Equipment

  • 1 Grill

Ingredients

  • 8 pcs. White asparagus

Marinade:

  • 1 dl Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp. BBQ rub or 1 tsp paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper
  • 25 gram Hazelnuts flakes
  • 8 slices Parma Ham
  • 1 handful Chervil
  • 25 gram cheese grated Gammelknas
  • Glaze

Instructions

  • Prepare ½ a chimney starter, indirect heat
  • Trim the ends of the asparagus and peel them
  • Briefly toast the hazelnut flakes on a hot pan over direct heat
  • Mix the marinade and brush the asparagus. Place them on indirect heat on the grill rack
  • Grill them for 2-3 minutes on 4 sides, brushing with the marinade along the way
  • Once grilled, arrange the asparagus on a platter, and distribute prosciutto, hazelnut flakes, cheese, and chervil
  • Finish with a glaze over the dish
  • Enjoy!
