
Recipe for baked pizza rolls with ham and mozzarella
Soft, fluffy, and delicious rolls with delightful pizza filling inside. In other words; stuffed pizza rolls with tomato, ham, and mozzarella.
The rolls are slightly whole grain, yet still light and fluffy – they just satisfy well. And it’s quite fun for the kids to take a bite and discover the surprise inside.
The rolls are easy to make and perfect for lunchboxes, outings, children’s birthday parties, snacks, etc.

Baked pizza rolls with ham and mozzarella

Ingredients
- 350 gram Water lukewarm
- 25 gram Yeast
- 1 pcs. Egg
- 6.25 gram Sugar
- 3 gram Salt
- 60 gram Oatmeal finely rolled
- 200 gram Rye Flour
- 300 gram Wheat Flour
The Brushing
- Milk
- Salt
- 9 gram Sesame Seeds
Fill
- 100 gram Tomato Puree
- 1.5 gram Oregano dried
- 75 gram Ham in strips
- 1 ball Buffalo Mozzarella
Instructions
Dough
- Dissolve the yeast in the water.
- Whisk in the egg, sugar, and salt.
- Gradually stir in the flour and knead the dough on the table until it is firm, soft, and slightly sticky.
- Let it rise for an hour at room temperature.
- Divide the dough into 12 pieces and flatten them slightly.
Filling
- Chop the ham and mix it with the tomato puree and oregano.
- Distribute the filling on the rolls and crumble the mozzarella on top.
- Fold the dough over the filling so it closes tightly and roll the rolls round.
- Place on a baking sheet and let them rise for 30 minutes.
- Brush with milk and sprinkle with a little salt and sesame seeds.
- Bake for about 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) in a preheated oven until they are nicely golden.
