- 350 gram Water lukewarm
- 25 gram Yeast
- 1 pcs. Egg
- 6.25 gram Sugar
- 3 gram Salt
- 60 gram Oatmeal finely rolled
- 200 gram Rye Flour
- 300 gram Wheat Flour
The Brushing
- Milk
- Salt
- 9 gram Sesame Seeds
Fill
- 100 gram Tomato Puree
- 1.5 gram Oregano dried
- 75 gram Ham in strips
- 1 ball Buffalo Mozzarella
Dough
Dissolve the yeast in the water.
Whisk in the egg, sugar, and salt.
Gradually stir in the flour and knead the dough on the table until it is firm, soft, and slightly sticky.
Let it rise for an hour at room temperature.
Divide the dough into 12 pieces and flatten them slightly.
Filling
Chop the ham and mix it with the tomato puree and oregano.
Distribute the filling on the rolls and crumble the mozzarella on top.
Fold the dough over the filling so it closes tightly and roll the rolls round.
Place on a baking sheet and let them rise for 30 minutes.
Brush with milk and sprinkle with a little salt and sesame seeds.
Bake for about 20 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) in a preheated oven until they are nicely golden.
