Recipe for meat sauce
The classic Danish version of meat sauce. This dish can be prepared in 10-15 minutes and is perfect for a busy weekday.

Ingredients
- 500 gram Ground Beef
- 1 pcs. Onion
- 3 loaves Bacon
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 pcs. Carrots
- 1 can Chopped Tomatoes
- Spices Salt, pepper, sugar, vinegar, and lemon juice
- 14 gram Oil
Instructions
- Make sure to take the meat out of the refrigerator 15-30 minutes before you start, this helps with searing the meat rather than "boiling" it.
- Start by cutting the bacon into small pieces and fry them over medium-high heat in a heavy-bottomed pot. Chop the onion, garlic, and carrot and add them to the pan 2 minutes after the bacon. 2 minutes later, remove everything and place it in a bowl.
- Turn up the heat on the pan and add the oil. Brown the meat and add the chopped tomatoes, onion, garlic, carrots, and bacon.
- Let it simmer for 5-7 minutes and season with salt, pepper, vinegar, lemon juice, and sugar. The dish is now ready to serve.
