Recipe for roasted kale
Delicious, crispy baked kale; healthy, easy, and most importantly, tasty.
Serve the crispy kale as a snack, or try it as a vegetarian substitute for bacon.

Roasted Kale
Ingredients
- Kale fresh
- Oil corn oil
- Flake Salt
- Pepper freshly ground
Instructions
- Rinse the kale well and remove any stems.
- Drain the kale well and dry it with a kitchen towel - it must be completely dry.
- Roughly chop the kale.
- Place the kale in a freezer bag.
- Add a little corn oil to the kale in the bag.
- Shake it well to distribute the oil over all the kale leaves.
- Spread the kale onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Bake in the oven for 5-8 minutes - keep a constant eye on it, it can easily turn black!
Notes
You can sprinkle the kale with grated parmesan or nutritional yeast before baking. Nutritional yeast has a flavor similar to parmesan but is vegan and can be eaten by those who do not consume animal products.
