Recipe for crispy bacon
We love good bacon, and you get the best when you smoke it yourself!
With a couple of rib roasts, you can make your own smoked bacon that tastes fantastic and in no way compares to any bacon you can buy.
Perfect as a topping for thick soups like potato-leek soup, pumpkin soup, hokkaido soup, or Jerusalem artichoke soup.

- Cut bacon slices into approximately 1 centimeter pieces and lightly flatten them with the palm of your hand.
- Cut into small cubes as desired.
- Pan-fry the bacon cubes for 15-20 minutes over medium-high heat, until they are crispy and golden.
- Let the bacon drain on absorbent paper (kitchen towel) and use them as a garnish for soups, for example.
