Recipe for fried ham
Where I come from, we hate wasting food and have plenty of techniques to turn leftovers into a delicious meal. For example, when it comes to ham, I always find that we have leftovers. Instead of reheating the meat in the oven, microwave, or perhaps in boiling water, you can kill two birds with one stone by reheating them in a pan.
The meat becomes different from boiled ham and gives a whole new feel to a dish.

Fried Ham
Ingredients
- 250 gram Boiled Ham Leftovers. For instance, from frozen or cooked the day before.
- 20 gram Butter
- 14 gram Oil Neutral in taste
Instructions
- The meat is already cooked, so it's simply about getting a crust on the meat while reheating it. It's important not to cook it for too long, as the meat shouldn't become dry.
- The key to successfully frying it is using a very hot pan. I heat my pan (without fat) and when it is very hot, I add the oil.
- Cut the meat into evenly thick slices and add them to the pan along with the butter.
- Fry it for 1 minute on each side and the meat is ready to serve.
- If you have extra potatoes left over from the day before, I recommend serving them with fried potatoes.
