Cauliflower with white sauce and bacon
This is more of a great-grandmother dish, rather than a grandmother dish?
I got the recipe from a teacher at my daughter’s after-school program, it was so peculiar that I had to try it.
And I must admit, the result is really good.?

Ingredients
- 1 pcs. Cauliflower
- 30 gram Butter cirka
- 30 gram Flour cirka
- 250 gram Milk
- 400 gram Bacon
- Parsley fresh
- Salt and Pepper
- 0.5 gram Nutmeg grated
- 1 pcs. Stock Cube chicken
Instructions
- Place your cauliflower head in a pot with lightly salted water and cook it for about 10-12 minutes.
- Cook the cauliflower until it is tender, then place it on the dish you intend to serve it on. Let it cool slightly.
- Make a roux by melting butter and adding flour, then slowly add the milk, stirring the sauce to the desired consistency.
- Add salt, pepper, bouillon, and nutmeg.
- Let the sauce simmer well.
- Fry the bacon cubes until crispy, then place them on absorbent paper.
- Carefully pour the sauce over the cauliflower, then add the bacon and parsley.
