Whole Milk Buns

Fluffy and Delicious Buns

Ingredients

  • 25 gram Yeast Or half a pack of dried yeast
  • 19 gram Coarse salt
  • 12.5 gram Sugar
  • 200 gram Water Lukewarm water
  • 306 gram Whole Milk
  • 56 gram Oil
  • 700 gram Wheat Flour

Instructions

  • Put whole milk and water into a mixing bowl with the yeast and dissolve the yeast.
  • Optionally use a mixing bowl with a dough hook.
  • Add salt, sugar, and oil, and mix well together.
  • Gradually add the flour and knead the dough until it releases from the sides of the bowl. Run the dough in a mixer for 5-7 minutes or knead it by hand for 10-15 minutes.
  • Let the dough rise for 45 minutes under a warm tea towel.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into 12 parts and roll into buns.
  • Place the buns on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit) convection.
  • Bake the buns in the middle of the oven for 20-25 minutes at 160 degrees Celsius (320 degrees Fahrenheit).
  • Let the freshly baked buns cool on a wire rack.
