Instructions
1. Heat oil or butter in a pan. Add whole cardamom (remember to break/open them) and let it fry for 1-2 minutes on high heat.
2. Now add semolina and reduce the heat to medium. Stir for 7-10 minutes or until the semolina releases its fragrance.
3. Increase the heat, now add sugar and mix well. Be careful not to burn the sugar.
4. Now add the water - be careful it splashes - and stir well. Stir for 2-3 minutes or until the halwa doesn't stick to the pan.
Garnish with dried nuts and optionally coconut on top.
