Slice the orange and lemon into rounds and then halve the slices.
Place half the orange slices and half the lemon slices into a glass pitcher. Set the remaining slices aside.
Cut the peach and half an apple into smaller pieces.
Add all the peach pieces to the pitcher but only half of the apple pieces. Set the remaining half apple aside. Optionally, squeeze a little lemon juice on the cut surface to prevent browning if it will be a while before serving.
Pour the brandy into the pitcher along with the orange juice and sugar.
Use a large spoon (preferably wooden) to press and mix the contents of the pitcher, releasing the fruit juices. Mix everything well.
Now add the cinnamon stick and red wine (I personally prefer Rioja!). I usually place the pitcher in the refrigerator for about 2 hours so the flavors can really develop, but you don't have to if you can't wait.
Just before serving, stir the pitcher and add ice cubes to each glass.
Cut the remaining half apple into smaller pieces and distribute them into the glasses.
Pour the sangria into the glasses and optionally add a splash of sparkling water.
Garnish each glass with an orange slice and a lemon slice.
