Take a pot and fill it with water.
Add salt and bring to a boil.
Put the potatoes in the boiling water.
Let the potatoes cook until just tender. Check the potatoes by pricking them with a sharp paring knife.
Next, pour off most of the water from the potatoes - leave about 1½ cm. of water in the pot.
Continue boiling and turn the potatoes until the remaining water has completely evaporated - be careful not to puncture the potatoes in the process.
Let the potatoes sit on low heat in the now dry pot, turning them a couple of times as they gradually take on color and wrinkle a bit.
Turn off the stove and let the potatoes cool slightly before serving.
As you can see, the potatoes get a thin and fine salt layer on the outside. They are excellent as an alternative to chips, for example.
