Equipment

  • Bowl
  • Rolling Pin
  • Knife
  • Baking Tray
  • Baking Paper
  • Oven
  • Brush

Ingredients

Dej

  • 15 gram Yeast
  • 150 gram Water lukewarm water
  • 150 gram Milk
  • 1 pcs. Egg
  • 45 gram Oil
  • 6 gram Salt
  • 250 gram Manitoba Flour
  • 350 gram Wheat Flour

Fill

  • 50 gram Ketchup
  • 1 can Tomato Puree
  • 3 gram Salt
  • Pepper a little
  • 2 gram Oregano dried
  • 1 package Ham Strips
  • 1 bag Grated cheese

Instructions

Dough

  • Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water. Stir in milk, egg, and oil.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix the dough well. Knead it on a flour-dusted surface.
  • Let it rise in the fridge overnight.
  • The next day, divide the dough into 2, and roll each piece out into a circle on a flour-dusted surface. They should be 3-4 mm thick.

Filling

  • Mix ketchup, tomato paste, salt, pepper, and oregano to make a pizza sauce. (Alternatively, you can skip this step and buy a ready-made pizza sauce). Spread the sauce on the two circles.
  • Distribute ham and cheese on the circles.
  • Cut each circle into 8 "pizza slices" (see the image below), and roll each slice from the wide end down to the tip. Place the horns on a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) (fan-forced) and let it heat up while the horns rise for another 10 minutes.
  • Brush the horns with a little milk and bake them for 18-20 minutes until they are golden and fully baked.
