Instructions
Put chocolate and butter in a saucepan.
Melt it on the stovetop into a uniform mixture.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool.
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius (338 degrees Fahrenheit) (conventional top/bottom heat).
Meanwhile, whisk sugar and eggs into a light and fluffy batter.
Add salt.
Sift flour and cocoa powder into the egg mixture.
Gently fold the now cooled chocolate mixture into the egg mixture.
Place the molds on a baking rack.
Pour the batter into the molds. Fill the molds about 3/4 full, so your muffins have room to rise a bit.
Place the rack in the middle of the oven.
Let your muffins bake for 25-30 minutes.
Remove the finished muffins from the oven and let them cool on the rack.
Serve the delicious chocolate muffins as they are, or decorate them as desired.
