Ingredients

  • 1 pcs. Onion small
  • 91 gram Oil neutral in taste
  • 100 gram Rice cooked, preferably leftovers
  • 1 pcs. Egg
  • 3 gram Curry
  • Spices salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a pan, preferably a sauté pan.
  • Add onions and curry. Let it "burn" for about a minute.
  • Add the rice and fry it while stirring for a couple of minutes.
  • Make a well in the middle of the rice and crack the egg into it.
  • Whisk the egg thoroughly with a whisk or a wooden spoon, so it combines with the rice.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  • Serve the fried rice as a side dish or a standalone dish.

Notes

It is obvious to add various types of meat or vegetables to the fried rice and thus vary the dish.
Try for instance with fried chicken or ham as well as mushrooms, peas, or red bell peppers.
