Flyversjus
Flyversjussen is one of the classic Danish drinks, which can at least be dated back to 1937 – and probably earlier. The simple mix of aquavit and lemon soda is light and refreshing and doesn't deserve its somewhat quirky reputation.
Equipment
- Tall drinking glass
Ingredients
- 4 cl aquavit Strand Dry Aquavit
- 12 cl Tonic Fever Tree Lemon Tonic or a good homemade lemonade
- Lime Garnish with a slice of lime
Instructions
Flyversjus
- Take a highball glass filled with ice, and pour aquavit into it.
- Top with Lemon Tonic, and garnish as you like.
- For example, you can use a slice of lemon.
Homemade lemonade
- Squeeze a deciliter of lemon juice, and dissolve 100 grams of sugar in it.
- Mix it with sparkling water until it tastes good.
