Carrot Rolls

Healthy and delicious carrot rolls. This recipe is easy and quick to make and is a good way to use up your leftover carrots.

Ingredients

  • 0.25 package Yeast
  • 4.2 gram Sugar
  • 6 gram Coarse salt
  • 27.6 gram Oil
  • 3 pcs. Carrots Washed and grated
  • 400 gram Whole Wheat Flour

Instructions

  • Add yeast, salt, sugar, and oil to a mixing bowl with lukewarm water. Dissolve the yeast in the water.
  • Grate the washed carrots and add them to the mixing bowl.
  • Mix in the whole wheat flour gradually until you have a slightly sticky dough.
  • Let the dough rest for 30 minutes under a shower cap or plastic wrap.
  • Turn the dough out onto a floured surface, divide it into 10 pieces, and shape them into rolls.
  • Place the rolls on a baking sheet with parchment paper and let them rise for 30 minutes under a tea towel.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) (fan) and bake the rolls for 10-15 minutes on the bottom shelf.
  • Allow the rolls to cool on a wire rack.
