Instructions
Crumble the yeast in a large bowl or dough basin.
Pour the water into the bowl and dissolve the yeast in it. Add salt and sugar.
Add yogurt, cinnamon, grated apples, dates, and oats. Stir everything well together.
Add the flour gradually; you may need a little more or less, so you have to try it out. The dough should be smooth and slightly moist.
Let the dough rise under a damp tea towel for about 1 hour.
Shape the dough into buns and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Let them rise again for 30 minutes.
Beat the egg and brush the buns.
First, bake the buns at 225 degrees Celsius (437 degrees Fahrenheit) for 5 minutes.
Reduce the heat to 200 degrees Celsius (392 degrees Fahrenheit) and bake them until done - approximately 10-15 minutes.
Let the buns cool on a wire rack.
